I hate it when I get engrossed in reading the comments on some story or blog and then I start to wonder how many more comments there are to read which makes me glance to the scroll bar only to realize that it’s only 10px tall and I’m only like 1/8 of the way down the page.

I had this exact same thing happen to me too.
JPG screenshots of a new website design were sent to the client. Her only feedback was, “I try to click the menu, but nothing happens”.

WatchChris didn’t want anyone to video him when his Nexus One arrived so I just had to spite him. He was not nearly excited enough.
“Midnite Vultures” is such an underrated album. Everyone talks about “Odelay” (which is great too) and “Sea Change” (which I don’t why people it’s so good). “Midnite Vultures” was nominated for a Grammy for Alternative Album of the Year up against Radiohead (neither of which won though). It’s definitely my favorite Beck album.

Client: We like the design, but could you make the blues all the same.
Me: It’s the same blue through out the design.
Client: It looks like different blues.
Me: That’s because colors are perceived differently dependent on neighboring colors.
Client: That’s stupid.
